REQUIRE TEAM DONATION - EVERY FAMILY IS REQUIRED TO DONATE ONE CASE OF WATER AND ONE 12 PACK OF
SODA FOR THE SEASON. OUR CONCESSIONS OFFERS COKE, DIET COKE, COKE ZERO,
SPRIT, REGULAR AND DIET LEMONADE. PLEASE DONATE ONE OF THOSE FLAVORS.
SCHOOLS OUT PARTY - Friday May 27th is the last day of school. The HF
Rapids throw a great "schools out" party. The team provides Pizza,
games and prizes and we ask each family member to donate from the
following schedule...last names beginning with:
A or B: Bag chips, pretzels, etc.
- C or D: Bag of Salad Mix or a pasta salad mix
- E, F, G, H: individually packaged sweet (brownies, rice krispy treats, cookies etc)
- I, J, K, : 2-12 packs of a coke product (Sprite, Diet Coke, Coke, etc)
- L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S: 2 Cases of Water
- T, U, V, W: 2-12 packs of a coke product (Sprite, Diet Coke, Coke, Coke Zero, lemonade)
Unless your item is perishable, plan on dropping anytime before the
party at practice. If perishable, plan to bring to party (Salad and
sweets.)
**All extra supplies are used in the concessions during the swim season.
PARENT PLANNING MEETING - We will have a brief parent meeting at 6:30 on Wednesday May 25th. This
is for veterans and new parents as well. Please plan to attend. It
will be inside during practice.
SUMMER PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
- May 18th thru May 26th
- 6:00-6:45 6 and under and 9/10 age groups
- 6:45-7:30 11/12 and 7/8 age groups
- 7:30-8:30 13/14 and 15 and up age groups
- Morning practice begins Tuesday May 31 (NO PRACTICE ON MONDAY MAY 30 IN OBSERVANCE OF MEMORIAL DAY
- Tuesday May 31st-the end of the season (Monday thru Thursday WE NEVER PRACTICE ON FRIDAYS!!!)
- 8:30-9:30 13/14 and 15 and up age groups
- 9:30-10:15 11/12 and 7/8 age groups
- 10:15-11:00 6 and under and 9/10 age groups
- Monday and Wednesday nights there will be a two separate practices from 6:30-8:00
These practices are geared toward the beginner/intermediate swimmers on the Team. If you need clarification on this matter, then ask Coach Kevin and he will let you know.
- 6:30-7:15 7/8 and 9/10 age groups
- 7:15-8:00 11/12, 13/14, and 15 and up age groups
**Stroke clinics are during Hidden Falls HOA open swim periods. WE WILL
NOT HAVE FULL USE OF THE POOL LIKE MORNING PRACTICES. We ask that no
one come in replacement of practice. Please only come to get extra
assistance of instruction and with that said, this IS NOT a time for the
swimmers who swim efficiently to come and "practice". This would
include year round swimmers or advanced swimmers who just want extra
pool time. Please be considerate of those who need this time to
improve.
Our Assistant and Junior coaches are willing to do private instruction
with any swimmer needing extra help. The cost for this service
(scheduled outside of regular practice) is $10 for a 30 minute session.
